The Writers
Nicki Lisa Cole:
Nicki is a
freelance writer and consultant who holds a Ph.D. in sociology from the
University of California, Santa Barbara. Her dissertation titled “You’re not
just buying coffee: ethical consumption in the global age” examined the
marketing and consumption of environmentally and socially responsible coffee.
She is the founder and head writer at 21 Century Nomad, a blog that promotes

Josh Leffingwell:
Lover of all things delicious, Josh has spent the past few years focusing his time on coffee. Josh is a freelance writer and will focus on what makes a good cup of coffee. His palette is not perfectly refined which means he'll help those new to quality coffee understand that Direct Trade can be enjoyed by everyone.
